Project Overview

A major refurbishment for Cinch in Exeter, transforming an existing building into a modern self-storage facility with new roofing, cladding, glazed curtain walling and a complete internal and external overhaul.

Scope Highlights

Extensive roof and facade refurbishment including new insulated Kingspan roof and wall cladding systems, roof recoating, anti-corrosion treatments, new gutters, flashings, and rainwater goods.

Design and installation of structural steelwork to support new cladding, glazed curtain walling, entrance doors, cantilevered canopies, and bespoke building modifications.

Complete internal transformation including strip-out to shell condition, asbestos removal, steelwork decoration, new blockwork infills, lift pits and shafts, reinforced concrete floor slabs, and high-performance epoxy floor finishes.

Installation of new building access and services infrastructure, including glazed aluminium entrance doors, drainage upgrades, foul water pumping systems, and safe isolation of existing utilities.

Comprehensive external works comprising resurfacing of approximately 2,400 sq m of external areas, new automated sliding gate, fencing alterations, pedestrian access gate, safety barriers, bollards, bike shelter, drainage improvements, and car park line marking.
