A significant groundworks package for a new self-storage development in Royston, Hertfordshire. We transformed the site from the ground up, delivering the infrastructure, external works and security provisions required for a modern self-storage facility.

Site preparation and groundworks, including site levelling, ground build-up, DPM, Type 1 and granite.
Design, supply and installation of a 2m-high concrete retaining wall, concrete plinths for storage containers and a dedicated plinth for the site control cabin.
Site access and security infrastructure, including perimeter V-mesh fencing, pedestrian access gate, 2.4m-high electric entrance gate, CCTV bases and associated ducting.
Electrical and external infrastructure, including street lighting columns with LED fittings, distribution equipment, electrical circuits, service ducting and connection from the mains supply to the site.
External works and site completion, including tarmacking to the site entrance, construction of an extended pedestrian footpath into the development, block paving, and associated reinstatement works.
